Bringing it back
dishabille \dis-uh-BEEL\, noun:
1. The state of being carelessly or partially dressed.
2. Casual or lounging attire.
3. An intentionally careless or casual manner.
Have I also mentioned that working from home means that I can stay in my pajamas? ALL. DAY. LONG. There was that one time, though, that I went to answer my door and found my neighbor wanting to chat. She looked at me and said, "Emily, you really need to get out more. Looks like you could use a reason to get dressed."
Love her and her honesty. She's about as down home as you can get. And she's from Texas. She's also the one who told me I cannot pull off the Texan accent. It was truly a day of awareness for me, bless her big ol' Texan heart. She's a doll.
I have so much more to say, and it's all in my head all jumbled up like a ginormous ball of tangled necklaces. Why necklaces? Because have you ever tried to untangle necklaces? It's hard to do. It requires skills like nothing else does. And patience, too. But right now, I'm a little bit, a lot, super duper tired and I just might say something that would make sense. And heaven forbid I do that because then you would stop visiting me here in my little world of "Makes No Sense" and I would miss you. So, enjoy this week's Wednesday's Word, eat some popcorn, and oh! You know how there's peanut butter? Yeah...
