"Putting up" with Michael
How. Boring.
I went searching through my pictures of the past months and I don't have anything exciting to report.I hate that! And to go along with that, if you were to ask me what I've been doing, I wouldn't be able to answer you with cool answers like, "I've been saving the crocodiles in Africa,"
or "I've been ridding the world of floor bags, aka, bean bags." I wouldn't even be able to say, "I have been incubating and prepping for the arrival of our very own ostrich."
See? Boring.
In fact the only thing I can tell you that we have been doing is living. And all that goes along with that when you have a high school-er, a middle school-er, and an elementary-er. Add to that the fact that I got a job! Woot woot! A paying job outside of the home, that is. Because we all know that being a parent is a job in and of itself. Am I right? Of course I'm right. Never argue that.
What am I doing that I am getting paid for? Working at the elementary school spying on Laynee.
Kidding.
But I really am working at the school as an Instructional Aide. Love it! Right up my alley. And I really do get to spy on Laynee. Total bonus feature.
Oooh ooh oooh! Some other awesome news is that we have harvested the following:
1 bull elk,
2 mule deer bucks,
1 pronghorn antelope buck,
and 1 Fall bear.
In case you don't understand what that means, allow me to explain. We got meat. Lots and lots of meat.
Meat that we have canned, smoked, frozen, turned into burger, sausage, steaks, roasts, and jerky. And we're not even through the whole Fall season yet! I still have a blacktail deer tag to fill and Miguel still has his Colorado Muledeer tag.
So there you have it.
I have been putting up with a lot round here, I suppose you could say.
At least I get to do it with this smokin' hot buck!
