It's a very Merry Christmas, indeed!

We, here at Camp Burrell, had a fabulous Christmas! We hope you, wherever you are, had one as well. I know that there have been trials and hardships and some days that just plain sucked, but there was also joy, happiness and good.
Because of this, we wish you the happiest of holidays.
We wish you peace. And we wish you much love.
Look at my handsome men. HUNTER. Stop growing up.
Why does he never obey me when I give this order?

My darling husband took us all for a quick outing to a local county park. We brought the dogs along to give them some exercise and a chance to run free.
I allowed Michael off his leash for a brief moment or two. ;) He was being such a good boy.

Laynee Bug was a joy this year, as she is every year.
She (and the big kids, too!) always makes it so much fun to wake up at the butt crack of dawn every Christmas morning. Doesn't she look like a sweet little blonde holiday present? She is.

I adore these girlies!

And I'm pretty much head over heels for this guy.
(We like to bring along leashes when we go out. It adds a little spice. That, and the kids get a kick out of watching us forget we have our leashes on and run really fast, then get yanked off our feet backwards by the one holding the leash. Ahhh, good times.)

After our outing, we came home and thus commenced our annual tradition of making gingerbread houses. It was girls against boys this year, and I must say that we girls took the trophy. But...I think boys won for most original. And funniest.
That would be Santa. In his outhouse at his hunting lodge in the woods.

Poor boysies. Their house fell apart. And what's that? Ours is still standing? Hmmmm. Well that says something about who knows how to make a house a home, now doesn't it?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
