In January, I went with my mom to Idaho to be with her mom. My Grandma. She was dying. There really is no easy way to say that, but death is inevitably a part of life. It was an experience I will never forget. And because of that experience, this post is somewhat difficult to write. Not because of the fact that she is gone, no, but because of all of the emotions that I experienced in those 3 short days.
So many emotions.
Someday I will tell you about it, but not today.

Today would have been her 89th birthday.
Today I want to remember the good she gave to this life, to this world, and to me.
Thank you Grandma.
For your sacrifices, for your love, for your daughter. For my mom.
Happy 89th birthday.

Thank you Em, thank you for remembering and for loving her. She was a grand lady and first and foremost, she was my mom.
