Moments of happy

After playing in the snow, we loaded up and started to drive the rest of the way home. As it usually happens when we're on a road trip, someone had to go potty. On our way up to the doggy wedding, I had seen what I thought would be a fun place to stop and rest on our way back, and asked if they could hold it until we reached it. They said they could, and luckily the little bladders held out and we reached the potty break before any major accidents occurred.
As it turns out, it was a museum/fine arts store. It was gorgeous and if I had lots of money I would buy all my home decor from them. Including the lawn art they had displayed all around.

But the one thing I was most excited about was this Cinderella carriage. I thought for sure my girls would be as excited as I was, and do you know what? They did not disappoint. They were VERY excited. Well. OK. Only Laynee was very excited. Corrine was excited for Laynee. And if she was excited for herself, she didn't let it show, because do you know she's almost 11? And 11 year olds aren't supposed to be excited over metal carriages that may or may not resemble one from a fairy tale that she used to love when she was a little(er) girl.

Such a sweet girl. She'll always be our original Princess. No matter how old she grows.

And this little Princess will always be right there reminding us that life - our happy life - is all about the little  moments caught in between the big ones.
