Just look at them

We knew it was time to move the babies outside when they decided they were big enough to stand up and peek over the side of the birthing pool. Look at those faces. 

And if this were a moving picture like those on Harry Potter, you would see these puppy tails just a waggin' away. 
One night we put them to bed with their mama, all snuggled up and sleeping. When we awoke in the morning, 4 of them were out of the pool, 2 cuddled in the corner by the pool and 2 wandering around, stumbling like blind babies. (They were still pretty clumsy.) And in case you were wondering; yes. Yes there was puppy poop and pee on our floor. But it's a hard wood floor, so no carpet damage was sustained. Thanks for your concern, though. It was very thoughtful of you.
(Look how soft and small they were! Don't you want to pick them up and kiss and snuggle them? Oooooh so smooshy sweet, they were!)

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
