A day at Malcolm's
Sometimes when we're feeling a little stir crazy and in need of some outdoor fun that doesn't require a lot of...effort, we head over to Malcolm's. A local racher who is our good friend and who also lets us wander his acreage.
We grabbed our bows, the Honda 50, and the side by side, loaded up, drove the few miles it takes to get there and had ourselves a blast.
I love that our children aren't afraid to pick up dead boned things.
I also love that Hunter is man enough to strut his stuff and work that camera.
Another love is that Laynee is learning how to shoot her bow.
Aww. She's so cute.
Good form girlie!
One thing I do not love is the Hunger Games. Don't even get me started. I'll just have to continue that tangent in another post.
I do, however, love that my sweet girl, Corrine is way cuter and probably a more expert marksman that the girl who played Katniss Everdeen in the movie.
I know for sure that Hunter is. But he is a boy and really how can you compare a boy to a girl in a fictional novel? It's not fair, really. But seriously. Look at that young man! He's my little guy, he is. All growing up and shooting arrows into the sky. *sigh* Where does the time go?
