Summer concert featuring Josh Somebody

Oh, that's right! His name was Josh Kelley. And he was awesome. My friend Loni and I went together and had a great time. I really don't know many of his songs, but that didn't matter. He sounded really good live, and it was really endearing when he seemed to forget the words to a song he wrote just the night before. Hello talent!
January 2008? Sure. Why not?



The guitarist was also a part time train conductor? Who apparently liked to only stand in one position? And we laughed hysterically like crazy people many times that night at his expense. It seemed only right to take a picture with him.

And then we got to pose with the country singer himself. He was very nice and took the time to talk to us about his fishing trip that day on the mighty Umpqua. Not in a rush just to get through the conversation, even though we were not the only ones clamoring for his attention.

So. Josh Kelley. Too bad you didn't catch many fish. Next time you are in town, you should hire my husband to be your fishing guide. I promise you, you would have had a way better time because, hey. He's that cool.

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
