Good intentions...
...never get you very far, I've discovered. Wanna know why? Because no one else can read your mind. So it goes without saying that you probably don't know how long I've been trying to post this post, do you?
We are back from Utah, and have been for about two weeks. We pretty much hit the ground running the moment we walked in our front (actually it was the back) door. Which I'm grateful for, but still, that means that you, dear reader, and this blog have been neglected. By me. I'm so very sorry. Can we hug and call it good?
Thanks.
I feel so much better already.
Everyone knows that Tug's in Marysvale is the place to be. Especially for ice cream. Mmmmm yeah.
The fountains on Temple Square never disappoint.
Did you know that my mom's work has a "special room"? It's full of goodies that she let the kids raid. Every kid needs a grandma with a "special room".
Riding Trax.
Hey Kevin, Tim, Scott, and Chris:
How come I'm so much buffer than you?
How come I'm so much buffer than you?
Grandma took us to a new adventure place. In fact, I think it's even called Adventure Mountain, or something like that. We climbed that big ol' rock and then zip lined across the way to get back where we started from. It was super fun and we felt all adventurous 'n stuff.
Jumpeen ween (that's Laynee speak for trampoline) tricks at night are a great way to settle the kids down for bed.
Rock hounding.
Isn't she beautiful? Really. Couldn't you just stare at her all day? Little AJ, your Auntie Em misses you.
My arms ache a little right now, and my mouth just filled up with saliva because I want to smother you in kisses so bad!
Hey! Here we are rock climbing again! Corrine did so good! Both of the kids did, actually. But I guess that boys come with the expectation to perform well and catch on really quickly, so Hunter passed that with flying colors. Roo, though, surpassed the guides' expectations for a girl her age and they were mighty impressed with her fearlessness. So was I. You go, Corrinneee girl.
"Tickle me Grandma!"
The mighty Hunter. He caught this tiger salamander in Grandma and Grandpa's window well, then he released the little bugger into the water where he belonged.
Vertically climbing the face of a small mountain.
I don't think Grandma is very happy with her newest grandbaby.
Really. I don't think anyone loves her at all.
She should come and live with us, where we will snuggle and smile and giggle all day long. She can bring her mommy and daddy along if she needs to. You know, for nutritional value and transportation purposes and stuff.
*sigh*
That was fun.
More to come.
More to come.
Soon.
I promise.
