Oh my goodness. Thank you so much for the kind words and emails and thoughts. I don't often fall into a pit of darkness like that but when I do, it's so nice to see the bright lights of  you my friends/loved ones around me, guiding me back and lifting me up. Thank you, thank you.

On a separate completely irrelevant side note, I would like to share with you one thing that I am happy about today.
That. That price right there. See? I could have spent nearly $75.00 on this pair of shoes at a "regular department store". Or even $19.99 at the original Ross price. But I lucked out and paid a whopping $3.49. Who cares if they were originally for Hunter? His feet are too wide so I confiscated them. Tennis shoes are interchangeable, right? It did ease my conscience some when I showed them to Michael and the first thing he said was, "Good thing they don't fit Hunter. They look like girl's shoes."
So shoe happy.

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
