It started with a trip...

...up North to pick up Grandma from The Cousins' house. See, she had been staying with them for a week and she would spend an extended weekend with us before returning home. Believe me, we packed in the fun. Not a moment was lost.

 Dinner in The Loft was wonderful, as usual.

But dessert was even better. Voo-Doo Doughnuts. Mmmmmmm, and we all got to sample each and every one. They were every bit as delicious as they look.

Ending the evening with a photo shoot and music from The Mama? Yes please. *sigh* I always love these sorts of get togethers.

DUDE!!! you went to Voodoo Doughnuts! I've been telling Chris I want to go there. I've been wanting to take the kids to Enchanted Forest. Was it worth it? I'm getting antsy and need to go on a trip! Looks like your family had lots of fun.

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
