So glad that finally we are starting to feel like normal again. The flu/colds/pneumonia can all take a flying leap off the edge of a ledge in the Grand Canyon for all I care.
No, wait. That wouldn't help anything. The winds would just pick up and the germs would be spread all about and we would get sick again.
K, so let's think this through.
Bundle up all the germs, stick them in an airtight container, sanitize the outside of said container by immersing it in a vat of pure Clorox bleach, ship the container to a humongous kiln built especially for destroying evil, and place it inside, slam the door shut and bolt it while hitting the DESTROY button at the same time. That would get rid of the sickness that has been plaguing us for far too long.
Let's hope that this time, we are for reals on the mend because if we aren't? Well then, you'd better all beware. I'm a little emotional about all of this, and I would hate for you to get in the path of my wrath.
On a happier note...we have been trying to stay occupied by making some fun river trips, and archery practice trips, a birthday, Valentines Day, and there was even a Cheap Skate Roller Skating trip thrown in there somewhere.
Laynee donned her own pair of skates for the first time and she did phenomenal. For about 15 minutes. Then she was done. But boy did we get the most out of those 15 minutes! She was a skating fool...on the carpeted area. She would say in her sweet little voice, "Excuse me please! I'm skating on the carpet," to all who were in her way. It was very cute.

And if the germs are gone for good, I promise not to stay away so long.

I will be yelling DIE, DIE, DIE right along with you as you push DESTROY. We've been fighting a cold the last week. Lanie is the cutest in skates. She makes me laugh. My kids still can't skate very well. They would rather scooter.
