Wii are the Dancers

We're not quite that talented, but we come close.



My sis in law Jen is one amazing woman. She home schooled her three children and as part of their P.E. time, she bought a dancing game for their Wii and called it good. I decided I had to get in on this action. After all, I love to dance.
We had a dance off of sorts. The girls, Amanda, Emily, and Corrine all took turns and Jen and I danced a duet once or twice. (Yes I know that 'duet' is usually used in the singing realm, but who says I can't borrow it to use it here? It's all music, you know.)
Can I just say how much fun that was? There were some awesome songs to dance to. Remember NKOTB? Yup, we totally grooved to "Step by Step", the Spice Girls' "Wannabe" (which by the way Amanda can totally mooove to!), and I think there was even MC Hammer in there somewhere. You can tell from the photos above what an awesome time was had by all. Next time I'm making Michael dance next to me and we will dance a duet to "Groove is in the Heart". He's practicing right now. Hooo, boy. I wonder if we could get Jen's hubby, Michael's brother, Anthony in on this action, too? Whachoo say Ant?

That is sooo fun! I haven't danced in forever- I regret not having dancing at my wedding. Wii dancing sounds like a blast- I may have to try that out :)

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment.
