Sooo...how are you?

Things that have happened in the last week:

We (Señor Smells Good and I) celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. (Ooohs and awwwws welcome.)

Went fishing to a local lake and the only one of us who caught anything was Daisy. She caught the frisbee. Yay.

The kids had their last day of school last week.

Laynee flushed a whole roll of toilet paper down the toilet, thus causing said toilet to overflow.

Went to the county Lamb show and ate lamb. Not my favorite, but still pretty tasty.

Attended Hunter's band concert, and awards ceremony only to find out that they did not honor the grades for 4th quarter, so our little man did not get an award this time around. (frowny face inserted here.)

Had Corrine's (very belated) birthday party with her friends at the roller rink. While there, I became a magnet for a little girl who wearing a tye-dyed shirt who asked me for cake. Repeatedly. Her teeth matched her shirt colors of purple and lime green. Bleh. Sweet girl.

And probably the biggest news of all is that we finally had 70 + degree weather! Bring on the sun!

No. Seriously. Bring it on.

Wait. The little girl had rainbow teeth? So....what have you been up too? I miss your bum. BAD. I can't wait to play with you in July! Did you think it was cute when Laynee flushed the tp down the toilet? She is SO cute. If I was there, I would've pinched her cheek softly and cuddled her. Love you!

I wonder if my man will ever grow his hair out? Don't you think that when a man has hair that is thick and rich like a man's hair should be, it should be long? No man-bun style though. Bleh. I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
