Welcome back

I've dreamt of this moment for weeks. The time that I can sit down in front of my computer and write, and not be completely exhausted or look longingly over at my bed. Sometimes when I am working during the day, I will look over my shoulder at it and gaze with yearning at its softness and snuggly warmth. Ahhh. I better stop or I'll head over there right now!
I have so many things that I need to catch up on. I'll start with a very special video that was taken the day we went clamming. This is no ordinary video. It's special because when you watch it, you may just split your sides in laughter.

This sweet boy is Hunter's friend and he is a good sport with all our teasing.

On another note, we had to buy a new computer monitor because our old one fritzed out on us. Fritz. I like that name. I think our next pet will be named Fritz. So anyway our new monitor is large. Like 311's large in the margin. Seriously. It's huge and when I read things on it, I have to turn my head from side to side. And when I use my mouse, I have to move my hand all the way over there ---------------------------------> if I want to click on something on that side. I thought being on the computer was an exercise free zone. I'm going to launch a full scale complaint to someone sometime somewhere. But not now or even soon. I'm just not really ready to compose such a letter at this time. Because that's what it would take. Time. And effort. Both of which the barrels are running low.

So how do you like the new blogger "design" options? Pretty fancy shmancy, eh? I guess they got tired of competing with all the free blog background blogs out there. I must say, I am impressed. And now with my larger-than-a-newborn-baby monitor, I can enjoy the full effect of the websites.

I must leave you for now, and I know that some of you are either applauding the end of this post or reaching for the tissues because you're thinking, "What?! That's it? She posts a video and writes a few snarky sentences about someone named Fritz and exercise and I'm supposed to feel fulfilled, satisfied, appeased?" I know, dear ones. I know. But this time, I have made myself a little promise to go back to the Emily I used to be pre no time/energy. So, to you, I will make the following oath:

On my honor, I will do my best - to do my duty, to you and my blog and to obey the mom law; to keep my typing fingers strong, my body awake and my humor intact.

I think it's safe to say that you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be back tomorrow with an all new Double Wednesday's Word.

Peace out.

That video is hilarious, but what makes it the funniest is to hear you laugh and when you pan over to your hubby he is trying to hold his laugh in. So funny!
