Over the river and through the woods...

...To Grandmother's house we go! Actually, that should be to Grandmother's house we came. Because we are here right now.  And it is fantastic. We are taking advantage of every minute with some of our favorite people because we know that all too soon it will be over and we'll be gone and wishing for these times again. Humph. It's no fun sometimes to live in a kingdom far far away. Except for the fact that when we come to town we feel a little bit like rock stars. *smile*

My "special" April Fool's dinner only 'fooled' the fools for a sec. They were on to me this time around. Except for the little one. She wasn't too sure about her unique dessert option. And her face when she found out it was really a tasty treat? Priceless. Utterly priceless. I'll show you later.

We were treated last weekend to some awesome visitors who kept us laughing until the wee hours of the morning. My other Mom and Dad (Miguel's Papa and Mamacita) drove to up to spend some time with us. It was a wonderful visit and it ended way too soon. Ahhh, I wish I could share with you a little of what we laughed about, but some things are better left, er, private. Hehe. Maybe someday I'll share...if you make me cuppy cakes.

And now? Now I am looking forward to snuggling my newest niece tomorrow, visiting with family, playing with friends, and showering my sister-in-love with love. (I hope I don't overwhelm her too much. I can be a lot to handle sometimes!)

So, my bloggies. I will leave you with these final words of wisdom from Jack Handey, "Contrary to popular belief the most dangerous animal in the world is not the lion or the tiger or even the elephant. It's a shark riding on the elephant's back, just trampling and eating everything they see."

I don't know what to do with this word. It sounds too much like Michelle and looks too much like Michael. My brain hurts.
