Her
This one turned 3 over the weekend! Holy Moly. I cannot believe that our baby is three. Sometimes I look at her and think she's too small to be that old. But then she starts to talk to me and I'm all, "Wha? How did you come up with that?" She's amazing. And so much fun. Whenever she wants to do something, it's, "Mom, I need to watch a movie", or, "I need some ice cream," or, "I need you to go away so I can do something I know I shouldn't and you won't know about it."
For some time now she's been telling me she needed to go swimming. So that's exactly what we did for her big day. Swimming. She was so excited to be there, even though in my opinion, they could have warmed the pool up a bit to oh, say, I don't know, something above freezing. It would have been more pleasant. The kids didn't seem to mind, however. They all had a blast. And let me just say that both Michael and I thoroughly enjoyed people watching. Fascinating.
There are some things I would like to share with you about our little Bug.
~She doesn't like naps, but still needs them.
~She doesn't like to eat (much), but still needs to.
~She loves dollies, polly pockets, and all things princess.
~She needs to wear dresses. All. The. Time. Sometimes I try to put pants on her only to find that she has stripped them off and will not go anywhere unless she is in a skirt or dress. It's all she wears. I love it.
~She loves her big sister. They play so well together. One night when I was putting Laynee to bed, she flipped herself over in my arms and yelled, "Roo! Help me!" Many times I will sneak a peak at them after they have gone to bed and find Laynee in bed with Corrine, snuggled up with books. It's very sweet.
~She also loves her big brother. Whenever she is playing pretend, he's the first one she'll go to when she needs a Guy. The Guy in this situation is simply required to tell her to, "Get in the dungeon!" Hunter's also been a prince, a dog, a horse and a dinosaur.
~She is extremely independent.
~If Michael were to clone himself and make the clone into a 3 year old female toddler, she would be it.
~She is it.
~She's our baby.
~We adore her.
