Fallin' leaves means it's Fall indeed
It's Fally Time. Love it. The leaves have officially all come down off our tree. And that tree behind Roo? It's still giving us the gift of its beauty. Seriously. I don't think there is a prettier place than right here, right now.
Layna Bug enjoyed the leave festivities as well. She did not enjoy being covered by them, though. She was content to do the throwing and the occasional one-leaf pick up. What you cannot see in this picture is her dirty forehead. She got into my makeup and applied it specifically to that area. It took about 4 wipies to get it all off. Speaking of baby wipes, I'm totally out.
Later this same day, we were given the gift of 4. Michael's brother and his three kiddos came to stay with us for a night so the boys could go shoot some squirrels. My two nieces stayed with me and my girls and we had a great time. They are both super sweet and always very helpful. The night they arrived, we celebrated by making carmaled apples. They were so yummy that we had to save most of them for the next day. I don't think one person finished eating theirs.
The apples themselves were ginormous, and added to that was not only caramel, but white chocolate, nuts, and Heath bar bits. Mmmmmm. Savory morsels in every bite.
I'll post pics of our adventures in roller skating next time. Until then, Bye-bye.
