True Belgium Waffles. Mmmmm.

For a treat, my parents took us downtown. Seriously. Going downtown Salt Lake City was a treat. I love to visit the big cities and see what all the fuss is about. As an additional treat we got to eat some YUMMY Belgium Waffles. I kid you not, I haven't tasted anything this delicious since I discovered cinnamon bears. And we all know how I feel about cinnamon bears.

The whole crew minus Mikey and Troy. So sad My Man didn't get to eat some of these yumms. No worries, I think I ate enough for him to be full all the way back home. That's how stuffed I was. I'm surprised they didn't have to roll me back to the car. Although Kev did say that one side of the car was leaning a bit.
HOLY. COW. Have you ever noticed this before? Brothers. Sheesh.

While walking around, we went to the Gateway Mall and the kids played in the water fountains. It was warm enough out that they didn't mind getting wet. I loved seeing their faces when I told them it was OK to run through the water in their clothes. Their looks told me, "Sweet. Glad to see nothing's changed while we're on vacation. Nice to know Mom hasn't turned into a snob and is letting us do what we would normally do at home." We don't believe in changing our clothes more than absolutely necessary.

Timmy Tim Tim played right along with the kids. They loved that. I loved that. *smile*

So that's the end of the water fun stuff.
Then we all went home and went to bed.

I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!! I loved having you here. Ashley misses her Rin. Kylie just misses having someone her size. Thanks for the pictures it brings back all the fun memories we had.

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment.
