It's a family BBQ. WOO HOO

In celebration of their upcoming marriage, we held a family BBQ/wedding shower. Which was awesome because I never get to see much of our extended family seeing as we live so far away from everyone.

So sad for my pa. He thought he was being all stealthy and playing Da-da's with Layna while no one was watching. But I was watching. Eagle Eye is always watching.
This Dutch Game is super fun and super hard. For me. I can never score above 60. Which is sad. I'm half Dutch, but the only tell tale signs of that would be that I love cheese and I'm stubborn.

After a lovely game of jumping Frisbee, we celebrated by jumping. (You should click on this picture to enlarge it. Trust me, you will not be let down.)

This would be my uncle Glen and my Laynee bug. I love this picture.

This is my cousin Kim and two of her three kiddos. I love her. When we were young, we would have sleepovers for a week straight. I don't know how my mom and her mom allowed that. I always loved going over to her house because her stuff was way cooler than mine and she always let me play with it. That and she's just an amazing person.

This guy would be her dad, my Uncle Brent. Love him. And my Aunt Terrie. Here, Brent is playing ping pong with my other cousin's son, Jack. He was too cute. ( I looked but could not find a picture of my Aunt Terrie, Brent's wife and Kim's mama. I promise she was there and I loved seeing her. Sad that I can't document it.)
The best part about having 4 brothers is that I'll get 4 more sisters. Sisters that I didn't grow up with and fight with over clothes or space or attention. I love these girls, but I sorta feel sorry for them, because they have to live in my shadow which no one should ever be forced to do. KIDDING. I'm totally kidding. It's them that I look up to. All two and a half of them. (Mandy I love you, little half pint.)

This is my cousin Val and her hubby Scott. They are the parents of the adorable Jack who is pictured up above. Something you should know about Val: She always looks great and even if she tried to look sloppy, it would end up being a fashion statement because that's how beautiful she is. Even when she's playing That Dutch Game. Now Scott, on the other hand, who is about to give Val a wet finger in her ear, I don't know him well, but I think I'm safe in saying he's right up there with his wifey in the awesome category.

I loved seeing all the babies run around on green grass. Green grass with no dog poopies anywhere to be stepped on.

My Uncle Glen once again with his beautiful wife Diana. These two are the most recently newly married. And they are so much in love that they are dripping with it. I loved to see this. It made me happy. And it made me miss Michael so maybe I was a little bit mad at them for flaunting their love so carelessly. But my feelings of happiness out weighed the anger and I was able to work through it and be super duper happy for them.

Congrats to Scott and Korin! You're right, I was not let down by the jumping picture. And Ah! my hands got so sweaty with the picture of Corrine on the shoulders of someone on someone else's shoulders. I am afraid of heights. Jeez. Way cool pic. You had such a fun-filled trip!
