Today's Wednesday's Word is awesome. Awesome because you won't find me pule-ing, Today I am ebullient. Ebullient because in a few short days (actually the double day after tomorrow) we will be embarking on an adventure like no other. We will be on our way to a big ol' lake in the desert and we'll be sleeping on a houseboat and we'll be eating lots of yummy food, playing games, building desert sand castles, maybe partaking in a bit of sun worship, and most definitely having the time of our lives. I cannot wait! Although, to be quite honest and to show off my prescience, I'm gonna go ahead and say that I won't be seeing much of Señor on this trip. He's already forewarned me that he'll be fishing both day and night, and if I want a piece of him, I'll either have to take it during meal times or accompany him on the boat. Which could be really awkward if my father-in-law is his fishing buddy.

I am so so excited I can hardly stand it! Ummm...it's okay. You can just tell my Dad you're having "pwivate time" and he'll understand.

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment.
