A Great Saturday after Good Friday

Good News:
An Easter Egg hunt for children of all ages.

This is quite a lovely photo of me waiting for Layna to gather eggs.
It is also a lovely shot of other mothers' rears.
Glad I was kneeling.
Good News:
Hunter and Corrine are older and could gather eggs by themselves without worry.
Bad News:
Probably the other kids didn't like so much when Hunter bowled them over to get to THE EGGS. THE EGGS. MUST GET THE EGGS.

Good News: A teenage boy played with his flamingo puppet for a long time. Just to entertain The Bug.

Good News:
Hunter is the best big brother ever. He played with Laynee for, like, 2 hours while we waited in line to get Corrine's face painted.

Good News:
Corrine got her face painted.

The Face Painters were doing this for free, but most people were tipping them. Not much, just a few bucks here and there. I got to chat with the woman in front of me, as would normally happen while waiting in line FOREVER, and I really enjoyed her company.
While in line, I noticed some parents slipping a little somethin'-somethin' into the hands of The Painter. You know, givin' some tips. No big deal. Only problem is, I don't carry cash with me. Ever. I just don't. Not on purpose. It's just that every time I get cash, it disappears so quickly that I don't feel accountable for how much I spend. So in order to actually save money, I don't carry it with me. Not that I wouldn't carry it if I had it to carry, but...nevermind.
Anyway, this sweet woman in front of us, when her daughter's face was all painted, gave The Painter a tip and then told her that the extra cash was for us. She tipped the lady for us. Have I ever told you that I seriously don't know how, but I am surrounded by THE MOST AMAZING PEOPLE? And some of them I don't even know. It left me speechless. Literally.

Good News:
The Good Samaratin is not dead. And neither are blue unicorns.

Good News:
The Bug LOVED the swings today. She weeeeeee'd for, like 45 minutes.

Good News:
Whenever you climb to the top of a train, and you get stuck, your big brother will always be there to bail you out.

It was a great day.
