The first leg...

...Of our trip we spent with my parents and bros and sis. The only ones missing are Kev and Carrie. *frown* They refused to ditch school and party with us.
We had dinner and played games and talked and watched the dogs play.
I love my family. Seriously. There is never a dull moment whenever we're together. I hated leaving them. This time was harder than most times, and I'm not quite sure why. I always miss having them around and I miss not being able to just hang out or go shopping or whatever.
Hey! I have a bright idea! They should all move here. That would solve all the world's problems in one swift movement. My single bros could meet some ladies and they would live happily ever after. All in one state. Plus, Dad, our weather is VERY SIMILAR TO HOLLAND'S.

ERMA: You mom and dad must have been in mad family heaven having you around. I bet Kev and Carrie are so sad they couldn't be there. Yeah Hans, why not! I know how hard it is for your mama, cause I go through the same with NAT every day. Good thing there is messenger, facebook, blogs, e-mails and PHONES or I think I would die if I had to just WRITE a letter and wait for a response from her or the grandkids. Nice that you can come often.....I would love to make a trip up North when I know you will be in town next time....hugs...one of your FAVORITE aunties....

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
