I've decided that you all need more of me. This means that every Saturday is now going to be the Good News/Bad News Day post. Ok? Because the world needs some news that doesn't involve a stimulus plan, or crooked politicians, or monkeys sending people to ICU.
Behold. Your first installment.

Good news:
Wal-Mart got new shopping carts. Last night. They're pretty sweet. And smooth and no noises.

Bad news:
We got the one that was dirty. Baby sat in baby seat and got some disgusting greasy (like auto grease) smelling substance on her LIGHT PINK PANTS. Stupid Wal-Mart.


Good news:
We got Strawberry Whoppers.

Bad news:
Baby didn't eat the Whoppers. She held them in her hand and they melted all over causing her to wipe them on Mama's pants.

Good news:
Michael's (the store) had tons of fun stuff on sale. For a dollar!

Bad news:
We are on a budget.

Good news:
I still bought me something. Maybe it's sparkley.

Bad news:
They didn't have any "E"s.




Good news:
I don't care. I got an "O". It stands for "Ohhhh Mama", "Ohhhh Baby", "OooooHooooHoooo!", and my favorite, courtesy of Corrine: "Ooooh La La!"

It's nice to try and look at all the good things that happen in a day... there can always be bad things that happen but you have to look past them. For instance, we went to the Jimmy Eat World concert in Tempe, AZ. Bad news: we had to wait in line for four+ hours. Good news: we were in front.....6 feet from Jim Adkins himself. Bad news: The opening band for them sucked. Good news: They made Jimmy look even better!!! Greatest news: They were freaking amazing!!! Best show ever. Bad news: I didn't get a guitar pick from jim or anyone else. Good news: Sariah, my friend did, but I got to touch the drummer!!! I'm never washing my hands again.

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
