It's news to me
A conversation overheard at our dinner table this evening:
(Hunter has a friend who is a little...ahem...more knowledgeable than our kids.)
Friend:
The difference between a beer bong and beer pong is that a bong is like a funnel thing with a tube attached and then you drink from it, and beer pong is a game.
Corrine:
Have you seen the movie Twister?
Friend:
No.
Corrine:
Well, it's kinda like that except not really because there's a funnel cloud. And on that movie, IT'S SO COOL! they actually chase the tornados and they're F5's!
Friend:
Huh.
That's my girl.
Good news:I bought a new purse and wallet today for 5 buckaroos. Total.
Bad news:
There isn't any relating to that topic.
Good news:
Laynee slept in a big girl bed last night.
Bad news:
Same thing. The big girl bed. She's not ready to be a big girl. Wait. I'm not ready for her to be a big girl.
Good news:
I did not buy Twilight-a. I repeat. I DID NOT BUY TWILIGHT-A.
Bad news:
Tedward is calling me...
Good news:
I am proving to certain people that, contrary to their belief, I am not addicted to it.
Bad news:
In my attempt to do so, I am becoming very confused.
I want to own it, but only because I think it's a hilarious movie and I actually quite liked some parts of it.
I don't want to own it because the acting is horrible and I am not at all happy with some of the people they cast as main characters.
But...I want to own it. If I buy it though, it's like I'm admitting that I do love it when I really only like it. I like it as a friend. I kinda want to be free to see other people, ya know?
Ooooh. You know what would solve this problem for me? If someone else bought it and then gave it to me as a gift. Then I could be all, Hey. Dude. This was given as a gift. It would be kinda rude to take it back to the store and exchange it. That would be like a hard slap on the back of their hand.
And we all know how I feel about slapping.

this is prob my fav word verification yet...
quetedib.
And if I could afford it, I would send you a copy of Twilight, I havn't even purchased one for myself yet.
Right now, $17 seems like a lot of money to me...hence the reason I get warm and fuzzy inside for a $5 purse and wallet combo.
And yes, time is flying by too quickly, the little ones need to slow down just a bit.
I mean Temily.

Hooray! I should be home all day Wednesday. Jack has school and will be gone from 10:45 to 1:30, but the bus picks him up at our driveway so I don't have to leave at all. And then we have a little birthday party for Ella at 7:00 that night upstairs. Just give me a call or stop by. I'll be around somewhere. : )
