We got wet

We went to water park today for a birthday party. No worries, it was indoors. The kids had so much fun! I hung out in the 10 inches of water they called the "Kiddie Pool/Grown-Ups-With-Kiddies-Pool/I-don't-have-any-kids-but-the-other-pool-is-too-cold-so-here-I-am pool". Hey, don't judge. It was warmer in there. And I did go down the super slide one time, with the excuse that I was taking my 7 year old down with me, only to have my 7 year old say she was 7 YEARS OLD and she didn't need me to sit her on my lap and ride down. *sniff* So when it was my turn, I felt a little awkward going alone. Kinda like a middle aged woman wearing clothes that are meant for her daughters. I digress...
Luckily there was a little boy who was terrified of riding the slide alone. His momma was nowhere in sight, so I just picked him up, all the while he was screaming and wrenching his head backward to see who the heck was man-handling him, set him on my lap and down we went. It sure made me feel better, because I was there for a purpose. Not sure if he was fully aware of how blessed he was though. I mean, what kid wouldn't be honored to ride down a waterslide with a strange woman?

I think you're the coolest!! *sniff* Can't believe you'd test the theory of kidnapping. :) Sounds like it was kinda fun. I can't wait to read your alien story. Just got done with the Twilight books. :) Need something new. Ya right, Jared about threw that last book away.
