It smells like Pine-Sol in here

We got our tree up and I love it! It was so fun to put up together! We do the fake tree thingy because hello! I don't like to clean my floor everyday. So we sprayed it with Pine-Sol and rubbed a car air freshener all over it's lovely boughs.
This one entertained herself by jumping on Daisy Dog. D.D. didn't mind because she had a chewy.

Rock, paper, scissors to see who gets to put the star on top.

The winner!
The finish. Ta dum!
(Corrine was reading this over my shoulder and goes, "The star is falling over." Ok, so we're not perfect. Sheesh! The dillusion is over.)

Yayyy it's christmas at your house, ok we better get ours up now!
what a beautiful tree. i love the christmas season. we have had ours up since before thanksgiving. i love to have the house decorated. looks great.
That would bug me if the star was leaning. Please make it straight or else I won't be able to stop thinking about it.
Teasing...
We have a white dove on the top of ours and it's falling over too :)
So...did you really put Pine-sol on your tree? That is so funny. I have an extra Spruceberry candle if you want it.
I love the pic of Michael staring out the half assembled tree. Now how does this work ? Love Dad and Mom Burrell

I really like the photo of Corrine and Hunter doing Rock, Paper, Scissors. Rinee looks like she is a reindeer with antlers! And a beauty at that! So sweet!

Mike is really thinking about going into the garage to get some antler sheds so that he can scratch away at the tree trunk. You know so it looks more realistic.

Hey I remember that tree... Well ya know what? Our tree came with lights on it already!!! Take that. Although I do miss setting up the tree and putting the lights on it and then the ornaments and then dancing around the living room and jumping on the couch singing Sleigh Ride by the Osmonds. And lastly after everything settled down, arguing with timmy. Ha! Those were the days.

Oh Laynee! I just want to squeeze you, kiss those little feet, just love you!!!! I'm sure we can all go back to our childhood and think of the traditions of putting up a christmas tree! SIGH! I love it! I wonder who will put up the star on top of the tree next year...love, grandma Ana
