It's here! It's here! It's really, really here!

Our neighbor and parent of Daisy's best friend Gypsy, gave the kids pumpkins this year. Said he grew them just for our kiddos. He's awesome.
Can you believe it? I know that I said I love the hot, but I'm excited it's Fall. I love the earthy tones and the fact that we get free candy simply by going door to door and begging for it. I love that this year Laynee will be old enough to ask for her own candy (hopefully - if she can just, for one night, let go of her stubborn-ness and talk already!). I love that my dog has only dragged the pumpkins away from the porch once. I love that my grass is green again, and I didn't have to pay a $175 water bill to get it that way. I love the colors of the leaves changing from green to gold, red and brown. I love that I get to snuggle next to SeƱor SmellsGood at night under our warm blankies. And I love that I can hide my I-like-to-eat-sweets abdomen (uhhh, about the gym--it's reeeeeeeelly hard to get up at 5:30 am. PM workout, anyone?) under down vests and warm cozy jackets! Ahhhh. Fall is amazing.
