Welcome to my 2008 edition of getting to know me.

Here is what you are supposed to do: and try not to be lame and spoil the fun. Because if you don't play along, a butterfly will flap his wings causing a hurricane in China. Now ask yourself this: Do I really want to be responsible for 1/3 of the world's population's death? I didn't think so.

2. Diamonds or pearls? Pearls, baby.

3. What was the last film that you saw at the cinema? Mama Mia with Jes!

4. What is your favorite TV show? I don't get TV.

5. What do you usually have for breakfast? My new favorite cereal; Organic Pumpkin Flax Plus Granola from Costco!

6. What is your middle name? Smoochy poo.

7. What food do you dislike? Cooked spinach. gag

8. What is your favorite CD at the Moment? A little known group called Everybody Else.

9. What kind of car do you drive? When I dream, it is a super sweet, fast and hot pink 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG. Convertible.

10. Favorite sandwich? The New Yorker from Bronx Bagels.
11. What characteristic do you despise in others? Dishonesty, Impatience, Superiority and bad body odor. Hey, at least I'm being honest.
12. Favorite item of clothing? Fuzzy slippers.
13. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? The land of my ancestors.
14. Where would you retire to? Somewhere over the rainbow. Where my children decide to call home.
15. What was your most recent memorable birthday? About a week ago, when ALL OF YOU remembered. Thanks guys.

I just recently discovered Shannon Hale! I have 2 of her sequels to Goose Girl sitting under my desk patiently waiting for me to finish my current book.

If you are a Pride and Prejudice fan you'll like her book called Austenland. I just read it a few weeks ago and it's one of those short, easy reads that you can just fall in love with and read every summer. :)

I did finish a book last week by the author of Ella Enchanted called "The Two Princesses of Bamare". Slow (for me) to get started but I think it's a classic. Sorry, can you tell I'm into books lately? lol Happy belated birthday Jesika's Emily!

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
