knell: noun;
a sound or sign announcing the end, extinction, etc., of something.
I have had one of the most amazing summers, EVER. And now that it's almost over (the first day of Fall is September 21), I hear the knell, and it makes me want to weep.
Between going to a wedding and seeing all our loved ones so far away, spending time at a beach house with the ocean lulling me to sleep, and having one of my favorite people here for a whole week; I have a hard time choosing which is my fav summer memory. Because that's all they are now. Memories. Funny how I treasure these more than almost any tangible item.
Jes and Miss Mylie came for a visit and we did an impromptu photo shoot. I am by no means a photographer, but it sure is fun. And when your subjects look like these two, it's easy to get swept up in the magic of a camera lens.
I have so much to catch up on and not much time to do it. Don't worry. I'm sure you'll all be so high by the end of one of my future posts, that it will be enough to tide you over until your next hit. You know, cuz I'm like a drug. You can't get enough of me.
