Let's start with 41
peregrination \pehr-uh-gruh-NAY-shun\, noun:
A traveling from place to place; a wandering.
We have completed our pregrination and are now back and badder than ever. We had so much fun and have loads of pics to share. So, to begin with, here are 41 of the 1,000 plus pictures that were taken during our pilgrimage to the homeland. (Can you imagine what it would have been like had I taken my camera along?)
Longboarding with the kids was a favorite past-time.
As was riding on the Cadillac.
It's not really a Cadillac, but that's how my mom refers to it.
A bit fuzzy, but I love the looks on their faces. Too great not to post.
This was how we rode. We started at the top of the driveway and coasted all the way down, around the corner, past the row of houses I used to toiletpaper in high school, past my old school bus stop, and all the way down the lane. Them longboards sure can coast!
Corrine scootered, and Bunter, Lanya and I longboarded on our bums.
Corrine and Ashley spent every waking moment listening, singing, and dancing to the Mama Mia soundtrack. "Diggin' the Dancing Queen!"
My pa has the same chronic disease of being unable to keep a regular face on when a camera is about.
Baby Kylie has the CHUNKIEST parts ever! I seriously wanted to take several large bites out of her thighs, they are that delicious! And those cheeks!
The gang. Minus my right arm (Michael) and Mandy's left leg (Troy).
Notice my hand trying ever so inconspicuously to hold her arms down so she won't rip the sunglasses off her face. She loved them, she was just shy about wearing them in front of a crowd.
The man of the year. Or vacation. Or wedding. Whichever.
We went to Payless. Or as Mom texted it, "I an in Paylerp."
Oooh, baby. Who is that?
Chris has a sweet bike, too. It must be a man thing.
My mommy's best friends in the whole world. They brought dinner over to us the night before the wedding and it fed us for 2 days after that. They are the sweetest women you'll ever meet.
Kev and Carrie were sealed in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. It was such a beautiful sealing and it reminded me of just how much I love my own husband. I was so thrilled that I could be there and I am extremely thankful for the ones who made it possible for us to be able to share this beautiful day with Kev and Carrie.
Do you see all these good looking guys? They're all single. And amazing to boot! You'll never find a better man than one of these guys.
Poor Timbo looks so short standing next to the Giant. He's not that little. He's taller than me! And Mandy. But that's not hard to do. She's one part human, one part hobbit. And super squeezably adorable.
Aren't we just a good looking bunch?
Scotty boy. He drives a sweet car. And he let me be in charge of the radio while we drove together. Now, that's a sacrifice, fo sho. Not everyone likes to listen to me singing acapella, but he handled it like a champ.
Umm, no one knows exactly why Chris is so tall. Just imagine how tall he would be if they never put that screw in his hip and stunted his growth. (He's going to be a fireman. Not sure how that's relevant, but there ya go.)
The happy couple. Aren't they just glowing? And no. That has nothing to do with the sun blaring down on them.
The girls took it upon themselves to carry Carrie's dress everywhere. She was so sweet and just let them do it.
Corrine was thrilled to be trusted with such a mission.
Hunter is so boy. He couldn't resist throwing weeds and leaves in the grates. And then spending even longer trying to retrieve them.
When we were little, six seemed like such a huge number. Five other people to share a bathroom with. Five others who are eating your favorite dessert. Five other siblings to travel 12 hours in a car with.

Five other siblings to travel 12 hours in a car with. But now it seems like 6 is the perfect number. Five friends who make me laugh. Four uncles and an aunt for our children. Five more cars to take me wherever I want to go. And five siblings who make all the hours traveling in the car worth remembering. ("I call that big house on the hill. You guys get to live in the barn." "Look at those horses!" Those are cows." "Oh." "Tim! Turn down your walkman!" "Scott, if you give me that pack of gum, I'll let you sit in the way back." "That hill is just so up there!") Thanks Mom, for donating your uterus to make us all happen. And Dad for paying for us to all happen. I don't think I would be remiss if I said we couldn't be here without you. Literally.
L to R: Tane and Chris. Tane and Chris are best friends and roommates. Let me just say that at the luncheon, I laughed so hard that food spewed from my mouth more that once, due in large part to the men sitting at this table.
That's my cousin Val in the edge of the shot there. She just found out that she's going to be having a baby girl! Congrats, Val!
Scott.
Me.
I took this photo for Miguel. He loves prime rib. So I ordered this in his honor. I also ate it in his honor. I did not, however sample the horse raddish in his honor. I gotta draw the line somewhere.
This bite's for you, Babe.
By beautiful cousin Kim, and her sweet Momma.
Miss Mollie. Kim's newest little one. I loved her! She almost made me baby hungry again. Does that feeling ever go away? Anyone?
Doesn't this shot make you want to grab your man (or woman) and dress up in fancy clothes and go dancing in the moonlight? Maybe it's just me.

Do you like Carrie's necklace and earrings? They were made especially for her by this extremely talented designer, as was the rest of the jewelry for the women on the groom's side. She accepts custom orders, I hear.
The shoes. What more do I need to say?
And my favorite picture of all. We caught this one just at the right time.
