I am now accepting requests

propound \pruh-POWND\, transitive verb:
To offer for consideration; to put forward; to propose

puerile \PYOO-uhr-uhl; PYOOR-uhl\, adjective:
Displaying or suggesting a lack of maturity; juvenile; childish.

malinger \muh-LING-guhr\, intransitive verb:
To feign or exaggerate illness or inability in order to avoid duty or work.

dilatory: \dil-uh-tawr-ee, -tohr-ee\ adjective
tending to put off what ought to be done at once; given to procrastination.

I received an email from an adoring fan, propounding me to use a word that means a very great deal to her. Let me clarify: As to the word's origin and meaning, I will leave that to the imagination. You may find it a bit puerile, and to some extent it may be. But, let me clarify, it gives me a wonderful excuse to malinger and be a tad dilatory.

Are you ready? *Deep breath* The word is habromania. Let me clarify: I chose to believe this word means that when used correctly, it will allow you access to secret passageways and doors hidden in walls. This will be a perfect opportunity for you to use that Karate you've been studying by mail for months, because you'll constantly be on the lookout for evil villains and the likes. And yes, I know, you're whole body is a weapon. Finally, allow me to clarify: Ka-chaw!

So I found out the other day that you and I were connected before I ever knew Tyler. My aunt was looking at my blog and saw your name on my link list. She was curious as to how I knew you. I told her you were Tyler's cousin. I never knew it, but her maiden name is Burrell. She is your hubby's cousin. Strange huh. You'll have to ask him if he knows Cheryl (Burrell) Gardner.
