Cherries anyone?

We were able to go cherry picking last week at a local orchard here. The kids loved it and we picked til our buckets were full. This, however presents a problem, because I don't like cherries. And I don't know how to make anything with cherries in it. Good thing I know how to Google, eh?






A word of warning: do not feed these to your baby unless you are having a problem with them being constipated. I think Laynee ate 3 pounds all by herself. She also had a diaper rash that is just now going away. Oh, but she loved those cherries! Pits and all.

Go buy a box of Pectin and make some jam. Easy to do but time consuming but OHHHH, well worth it.

What a pretty picture of the cherries! Great photography work! And I wish I could go pick something with my kids! It looked like so much fun! Well, other than the MINOR detail of having to find what the heck you're going to do with them everwords and the minor fact that you don't like them... Right...

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment.
