A game called catch-up

A few weeks ago when Grandma and Grandpa came to town, Michael took the kids (all three of them---alone!) and met his parents at a camping spot. I can't give out too much information here, because this spot is top secret. Seriously. It is. While they were camping, they did not find any real Indian arrowheads, mounds and mounds of obsidian, or anything interesting at all. In fact, they had a horrible time. You're not really missing out on much. (This is what I had to tell myself, because I missed the whole thing. :( Do you feel sorry for me?) Haha. Just kidding! They had a great time. Boy, I really had you going there, eh?

Grandma gave the kids each a necklace with a good luck charm on it. Corrine is modeling hers so nicely.
Hunter has worn his every day since receiving it. The only time he takes it off, is when he sleeps. But he puts it in his pillowcase and sleeps on it. And Daisy sleeps with him at night, so don't even think of trying to steal it.
Laynee has developed a new crawl, and since we now have a patent lawyer in the family, she is considering having it patented.
This is the position she assumes just before take off. Her right leg (the one that's up) propels her along, while she drags her left leg behind her. Almost as an afterthought: "I guess I'll bring this one along too. I may need it later. You know, for balance or something."
Mmmmm. S'mores and campfire tinfoil dinners. Don't they sound delicious, right about now?

Hunter is wearing protective gear while chipping his own arrowhead out of obsidian that they did not find here.

Michael and, in my opinion, his clone.

Apparently, they had some difficulty putting up the tent. This picture is priceless, because: a) Bryan is looking on in puzzlement, or encouragement. I can't be sure. and b) See? Setting up a tent just might be rocket science. This is how they rode. Hunter is sitting in the "Flight of the Navigator" seat.

Hunter has gotten quite good at puttering around on the little 50. He followed Grandpa around everywhere.
Oh, these two! And you thought she got it from me? Psh.

Yeah, that camping trip doesn't look like any fun at all! : )
Why didn't you go? Does Laynee do the scoot crawl? That is what Ayla did, she never really crawled, she just sat and scooted with her right leg up...that is crazy I thought she just did it because of our hardwood floors!
