...Oh what a beautiful day!
I am loving this weather we are having lately. It's been either in the high 60's or low 70's. Layna and I walked up to the school today to get the kids. *big fresh breath* I love it! And if the kids can get their rooms cleaned up in 18 minutes, we will all walk down to the library! Hooray for small towns and being able to walk everywhere! we will be having pancakes for dinner. Mmmmm yummmm. Tomorrow is mac n cheese with hot dogs. By Wednesday, the kids will probably want to have cuppy cakes for dinner. I'll be happy to oblige. As long as we can have 5 1/2 inches of frosting on top, too. And yes, I will make them finish every bite. I don't believe in wasting food.This picture is for Aunt Jen. Thank you for the beautiful dress for Layna! She looks so pretty in it. Sorry we couldn't get a better picture of her wearing it. It was raining outside that day. We were so greatful that it wasn't raining inside, or we wouldn't have been able to get a picture at all.

This picture is for Nani. She made this dress for Layna all by hand. I think she looks so grown up in it! This day, it was beautiful outside so we could get some great photos.

Maybe later I'll post some more about the incredible time we are having here and I'll try super hard to make you all envious that you don't live closer to us so you can join in. (Just on a side note: I really do wish that you lived closer so we could be together more!)

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
