I bet you were waiting...
..for my Easter post. No use in denying it. I know you were. The Easter Bunny came and went. He left the eggs for us to hide, seeing as it was a bit cold outside and he was probably in a hurry. No worries, the kids loved waiting for us to hide them and then we re-hid them ALL DAY LONG. OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

Little one here is a hound dog when it comes to candy. She can sniff it out anywhere and she knows where the kids hide it. She can find candy in places I would never think to look. It's like she possesses some magical power and can make candy materialize simply by wishing it. Here she is while eating a black jelly bean. One that I had thrown away because I don't appreciate the taste of anise. She found it near the trash can and crawled away as fast as she could to a safe place, then popped it in her mouth and drooled to show me how much she appreciated the taste of anise.
My handsome little man. I can't believe how grown up he looks in this picture. It's like he's going to grab his briefcase and trot off to save the world from utter despair, as he would M-F 8am to 5pm.
Corrine. One of a kind. Love her. Everything. She has one braid in her hair and one braid undone. I asked her if she wanted me to unbraid the other side and she looked at me with a blank look and said, "Mom, this way, I can look like a rock star." Oh, well, duh. I knew that.

I love this picture. It's not often that we get one with all the kids and their daddy. But my favorite part of this picture is the look on both Layna's face and that of Michael's. Here, I'll show you what I mean.
Like father, like daughter. They cant' help it. They are so freaking adorable. I'm going to give Michael a humongous smack-a-roo right now just for looking the way he does. Hold please.
The hound. I told you. She can locate sweet stuff ANYWHERE!
See that bit of brown on her otherwise white sweater? Yeah, well I had just taken away a Hershey's kiss. When I came back with a wet paper towel to wash it off the sweater, this is what I found.
It wasn't worth taking it away to get her to pose for the picture. So we let her have it and she's happy as can be. (The "Easter Bunny" scored on the dresses for the girls. 4 bucks for Layna's and $8 for Corrine's!) The tiara was appropriate I think. Corrine got one too, but she wouldn't be caught DEAD wearing it. *tear* How things change. *sigh*

Hope you all had an enjoyable Easter!
