Wednesday's Word

Today's word is: Rodeo.
Rodeo: n. a public exhibition of the skills of cowboys, as broncobusting, lassoing, bullriding, etc.
Last weekend I went up to Portland with a good friend Felisa, to the PBR, "FORD tough" series. YeeHaw! It was a blast!
These two scoundrels have never been rode. Even tonight, they maintained that title!
Just out of the shoots.
Flint, the rodeo clown. Dude was funny.
Me and Felisa.
Brandon Clark underneath Hombre, the bull. Straight out of the gates, Hombre dropped to the ground and rolled over on top of my brother-in-law. Brandon, hope you're OK, buddy. You're built "FORD tough". Suck it up. (Note to those who don't understand my wit: this is not my real brother-in-law. They just share the same name.)
This cowboy was currently numero uno in the world.
This guy is from Brazil and ended up taking home the grand prize.
I have a problem being serious in pictures. Of course I was singing along to a song in this one, so it's OK.
The winner. Guiherme Marchi. Easy on the eyes, eh ladies?

I know. This is your favorite! How can I compete for next week? I'll have to think of a really good one.

That looks so fun! I need to find some cool stuff like that to do around here. Or maybe I just need to go on a vacation to Portland. Hmmmm....

Rodeo is a good word for the week. Bull riding is a thrill to watch. Kind of freaks me out, but mainly in a good way. And the cowboy is a little easier on the eyes than Willie Nelson. Sorry, Willie. Nothing personal. HA HA.
