Getting to know you, getting to know all about you...

Welcome to the latest edition of getting to know your friends (me!).

Okay, here's what you do: Just copy and paste into your blog or e-mail. Change all the answers so that they apply to you (well, duh!). If you don't, tiny red devils will appear on your doorstep within the hour and poke you with their tiny pitchforks until you agree to pass this on. Then you will break out in hives and swell up like Violet on Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, making it impossible to type, therefore making it impossible to post this on your own blog (or email), therefore making the tiny red devils poke you again. Now, ask yourself this: "Do I really want to look like a balloon for the rest of my life?" If your answer is no, I suggest you get posting.

1. What is your occupation? Doula, jewelry maker, mother, nurse, chauffer, chef, prison warden, maid, psychologist, artist and entrepreneur; to name a few.

2. What color are your socks right now? Grey wool.

3. What are you listening to right now? My dog howling and the hum of my computer, Connie.

4. What was the last thing you ate? Carnation Instant Breakfast. You're gonna love it in an instant!

5. Can you drive a stick shift? It depends on whose stick shift you are referring to, but yes. I can.

6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Moody Blue.

7. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Miguel Burrell

8. Do you like the person who sent this to you? Yes. Megan is freakin' awesome!

9. How old are you today? 30 years, 6 months 1 day and 19 hours old.

10. Favorite drink? Peppermint, white chocolate vanilla hot chocolate. Or water. Either or.

11. What is your favorite sport to watch? Ice fishing.

12. Have you ever dyed your hair? Yes, just last week, in fact!

13. Pets? Daisy, the fence jumper dog. She is currently available for adoption. If you can pry her out of my children's claws.

14. Soap or shower gel? It's a toss up.

15. What was the last movie you watched? The Ultimate Gift.

16. What was the last book you read? The Secret Life of Harry Houdini.

17. What do you do to vent anger? Cry and yell at the dog.

18. What was your favorite toy as a child? A baby doll I named Jake. She was lovely.

19. What is your favorite season? Spring. In the leafy tree tops the birds sing good morning. "How do you do?" they say. "How do you do today?"

20. Hugs or kisses? I'm a sucker for both.

21. Cherries, Blueberries or Strawberries? *ick* NONE! Unless they are chopped up beyond recognition and placed in a yummy beverage of some sort. Or jam.

22. Do you want your friends to play along? Well, they know what will happen to them if they don't!

23. Who is most likely to play? Ummm, Jes?

24. Who is least likely to play? Those who wish to live their lives on the run from tiny red devils and people who love to eat blueberries.

25. Living arrangements? I am currently married to a wonderful man who loves me, and I love him. And we are currently living in a mansion that we cannot afford, just off Hwy 99.

26. When was the last time you cried? While watching "The Ultimate Gift".

27. What is on the floor of your closet? You really want to know? Shoes, shoes, shoes, dirt, a sock, two 3lb. weights, and shoes.

28.Who is the friend you have known the longest? All of the friends I currently have, I have known since before I was born! *collective "awwwww's*

29. What did you do last night? Chatted with our visiting friends, said good-bye to said friends, picked up a few toys, read my book, washed my face, got into bed and went nighty night.

31. What or who inspires you? Those who can laugh in spite of their circumstances and those who are brave enough to accept whatever life throws at them without complaint.

32. What are you afraid of? Losing loved ones before I'm ready to.

33. Plain, cheese or spicy hamburgers? Mild spicy.

34. Favorite dog breed? One that doesn't shed, bark, poop, or make messes.

35. What is on your key ring? A plastic Hoyt deer head key chain, a small flashlight, and 5 keys.

36. Favorite day of the week? Friday.

37. How many states have you lived in? 4

39. Favorite holiday(s)? I don't think it's fair to single one holiday out over another. It might make the others feel bad.

40. Ever driven a Motorcycle or heavy machinery? Only while under the influence of certain drugs that say, "Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while using this medication".
