Wednesday's Word to your mutha

OK, so I don't think this word is just for my mutha, but sometimes, I just can't resist adding that last little bit after "word". We have a fun, busy weekend coming up and I am totally procrastinating the chores that lie ahead. We have friends coming to stay and my house is not in complete order, yet. So, instead of tackling them head on, I am creating a new Wednesday item. It's called (if you didn't understand the post title) Wednesday's Word. Or words, if you feel so inclined. Feel free to borrow this little ditty. It's OK. I'll let you use it.

I've been trying to think of new marketing strategies for selling my jewelry, and I've come up with something. I am going to start a contest. Not today, but sometime in the near future so watch for it. Those of you who refer the most people to my jewelry website and the ones you refer could win a beautiful piece of jewelry! All you have to do is refer as many people as you can, leave a comment stating who referred you, and then your names will be drawn from a hat, or bowl, or cup; whatever I have on hand at the time. The more people you refer, the more times your name will be thrown into the mix and the better your chances are for winning. Get it? Great! The excitement will begin on Saturday and go for 2 weeks. Prepare well.

Now for the word. *Garrulous.

Michael will read this post and go, "Yep. Total garrulousness going on there."

*Garrulous: adj. talking much, especially about unimportant things. As illustrated below. (Sorry, girl! I couldn't resit posting this pic! It just fit too perfectly!)

I love the word garrulous. I have some experience and think it could be a word used to describe some of my everyday conversations. I'm going to take it as a "good" thing though.

Also, in your picture you're saying, "Oh stop!" I can totally hear it... More like in a Mike Myers voice on Saturday Night Live when he's impersonating his mom/mother-in-law... "It's like buttah". HA HA. Love it!
