Pucker up, buttercup!

When I take showers in the morning, I let Layna crawl around and play in the bathroom. She opens drawers and cupboards, emptying them all and putting the items in places that only she knows and will remember for next time. Sometimes she finds a treasure. Like this last time. Elayna loves to stick her finger in things. Pen lids, thimbles, chapstick lids, anything small enough to fit her chubby little finger perfectly. She also enjoys taking lids off the same items that she enjoys shoving her finger into. In this case, it was lipstick. She had a blast, and the sticky, gooey feel of the lipstick oozing around her finger was probably all the more appealing! She did not, however, like the taste of it. It made her gag. Which was what clued me in on her scheme in the first place. See, I was blow drying my hair and not really paying attention to the little monkey pawing at my pants and wiping her face on my calf. I'm so glad I could help her out in her time of cleanliness need.
