Global Warming? Not so much.

Last Sunday, we woke up to SNOW! Now those of you who don't live here and are thinking, "Big stinkin' deal." Well, yeah, it is! See, it doesn't snow here hardly ever. Last year it snowed, like, once or twice, barely enough for a teeny tiny snowman. This year (as I'm sure those who live in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, etc. are well aware) is much different! It was coming down in huge flakes. The kind that stick and are perfect for building snowmen, sledding, and car accidents. (The school has already used up all it's snow days!)
Daisy wasn't sure what all this white stuff falling from the sky was. She decided to eat it. Fun to watch!

Michael and Hunter working on the base of our first snowman. Can you see the size of the flakes coming down? Don't you love it?
Our maple tree out front. I know. Gorgeous!

Here are the kids (and our neighbors, Jasmine and Trinity) posing in front of one of the two snowmen we built.
Hi.
One of my favorite things to do, is sit outside in the evening when it's snowing and just listen. It's so peaceful. The snow creates some sort of noise buffer and all is silent. It's dark and quiet. Except for the snow that is so bright you can almost see everything clearly. It's a very calming feeling.

Snow is so pretty and the way you described it falling down at night sounds so peaceful. Almost makes me want to live in it... Okay, just visit. :0)
