Dinner at La Frontera
It originally started out as a date between Kevin and his sweet girlfriend, Carrie. I overheard where they were going to eat and stated that it was once one of my favorite places to eat. Kevin invited me along. Well, Hunter overheard Kevin invite me and he declared his loyalty to his mama, which meant that we had another person. Of course, Hunter goes nowhere without Corrine so she made the 5th person. Now everybody knows that 5 is an odd number and someone's bound to be left out, so Ashley got invited to come. Next came Laynee, she was being quite the mama's girl that night so of course, we brought her along. My mom thought that the fact that all her out of town grandchildren were going to be away from her was just too much to bear so why not tag along as well? I think the rest is history since nobody can just not go to La Frontera when there are already 8 people going. What's a few more, right? So that brought our grand total to...14!
Our waitress loved us.
Tim's partial, Mandy, Mom
Mom, Chris (he's single ladies!!) and Hunter, ever the jolly fellow.
Corrine and Ashley anxiously await their food.
Scott and Emily. I just love her. Well, Scott too, but, you know.
The original date-sters. Kevin and Carrie. (SHe's now going to college far, far, away and poor Kev is lost without her.) I still love you little man!
The gang from my end of the table. Yes, that is our waitress's arm in front of Hunter's face. And, yes, she did know I was taking a picture.
Here's Timmy! (He's single too, ladies!!) He sat next to me and had to endure lots of these...
I'll have what she's having. Cerveza anyone?
OK, I'll settle for Dr. Pepper. Mmmm Hmmm, that's right.
Sorry. Is it vain to post pictures of yourself?
My mom gave all the grandgirls these dresses for CHristmas, and Corrine (seeing as we were going to a fine restaurant and all) insisted on wearing hers. I was happy to indulge her.
Timbo and Laynee
Whatcha got there Scotty? A fork? Hmmm.
My bean and cheese burrito smothered with cheese and mole'. It's not as delicious as I remembered it being. Some things are just better left to the memories...
Mmmmmmmm. Chips and salsa. Yes. These were a hit. Too bad they charge you for a refill!!!!!!!
