Christmas Eve

This one was supposed to go at the bottom, but I'm not going to redo the post so deal. :) We let the kids open one gift on Christmas Eve and of course they got jammies! I love Christmas Eve jammies!
This was our dinner table setting. It was so fun! We had ribs with Ana's fresh salsa (pita--we call it) and lots of other yummy food that, sadly, I have forgotten. Nothing made it past the ribs. :( But trust me, it was all delicious!! I was never so excited to eat!
Now I remember! The most delicious salad I have ever had. MMmmmm! Garlic bread and sparkling cider.
Layna got a Peek-a-boo book from Grandma and Grandpa. It's her favorite book and game. She will stare at it forever!

The kids are soooo adorable. Miss you guys wish we were closer so Layna and Ayla could play. They would have so much fun.

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
