My Randomness
I got tagged by Jami, so I will play along.
Here are 6 random things you might not know about me and probably don't really care to know but I will share anyway because that's how you play. :)
1. After years of hating it and refusing to buy anything that closely resembles the color, I have come into a sortof working relationship with the color purple. Which leads me to numero dos.
2. I have this weird little, I don't know, glitch, you could say, that drives me to want to be different from everyone. My grandmother's favorite color is purple. No kidding--almost everything she owns is purple. Clothes, tissue, phone, cigarette lighter, bedspread, rugs. You name it, it's purple. It was also my favorite color until I realized how much this color almost identified who my grandma was. Then I decided I needed to be different. I sometimes go out of my way to be different even when it's more convenient to be a copy cat. Which in turn leads us into item 3.
3. In my constant desire to be different, I end up being almost exactly the same, without even realizing it! Seriously! It's a small character flaw. I realize this. Here's an example. When Michael and I were dating, Scott (my bro) was dating Michael's little sister Tamara. (We can thank them for hooking us up!) For Valentine's Day Michael and Tam invited Scott and I over and they surprised us with a cute little restaurant in their basement. Ana (my mom-in-law) had made dinner and there was a menu complete with Olive Garden salad and bread sticks! They even got Danielle (my other sis-in-law) and her friend to act as our waitresses. So sweet! It was called the Puppy Love Cafe. Well, Scott and I wanted to do something for Mike and Tam. We decided it would be a good idea to order some pizza and have a picnic in our basement. We lit candles, spread a blanket down on the floor and brought all my mom's house plants down to make it look like we were outside. Now, you might think this happened a week or a month or even many months later. No. It happened the very next day. Very original.
4. I am always right. Seriously. Except for the time when.....Well, there was that once......Nope. Got nuthin. I'm always right.
5. I secretly believe that blondes have more fun. I just love the color of their hair. I like to look at blondes and think, "I bet you are going home right now and you will have so much fun with your blonde-ness." I want to be blonde. I will never dye my hair blonde because A) I DO NOT look good with blonde hair. B) I can live vicariously through my girls! :)
6. I love to dance. Not that I can do it well, but I just love doing it. I listen to music and I can't help but shake my groove thang. It makes me happy. And I love to be happy. I love, love, love to be happy.
Okee dokee. There you have it. You now all know me a bit better. In turn, I would like to know you a bit better, so I will tag: Sheena, Val, Brenda, Danielle, Baylee. And that's all who I think even visit me here and haven't been tagged already, so have at it girls!
