My Hunter

This is my sweet guy Hunter. He's taking guitar lessons and he is really quite good at them. He loves to play the first few notes of songs over and over again. Hunter is such a good boy. I mean just plain good. He has such a love for people and things. He always says the kindest things to people and is genuinely happy when he makes someone else smile or laugh. He is a wonderful big brother to Corrine and Elayna. He loves to take care of the baby and is so sweet and patient with Corrine.
He is also known for saying sweet things to people but in a funny way. One time he asked Grandma (Michael's mom who is Chilean born) if she was half Indian and half human.
And the other day I was trying to explain to him how much we as parents loved him. Well this question somehow led to the birds and bees topic. One that I am not quite sure how to approach just yet. So I said, "Mommy and Daddy loved you so much that we each gave you a part of us. And that's how you grew and grew and now, wherever you go, you'll know that we are always right there with you." I smiled to myself thinking that this was a very clever way to phrase such a delicate topic. He got very quiet and then looked at me and said, "Gross. I have a part of you and Dad in me?!" It wasn't quite the reaction I had planned on, but it was a perfect answer from my boy! Love him!

I LoVe that 1st pic of Hunter! And, he is such a sweet boy, even if he does have part of you and Michael in him......lol j/k

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment.
