Ummm, hi
So here I am!! I have been having so much fun! (a really weird typo just happened to me. I was typing the word 'so' and it came out as 'sin'. i swear it hasn't been like that!) I went to visit my bestest girl Jesika in Arizona. We had the greatest time together! I took Laynee with me and the other two kiddies stayed here with Michael. I will definitely have to post those pics. Trust me, there are some good ones! (do you like feet and matching jammies? how do you feel about leopard print on babies?)
I have been finding the funniest blogs out there! I just love that all of you post links to other blogs on your blogs because they give me something to read and make me laugh and contemplate the state of my being. All very entertaining. I feel like I know all the people you all know and now we're all best friends. (Please tell me that I'm not the only one who blog surfs or "blurks"!) I know for sure of at least one other person out there who does it, too! *wink, wink*
I wore orange and black striped footless tights tonight to the school's "Harvest" Carnival. I think they should have called it a Halloween carnival. But, hey, I guess they gotta please the "Halloween-is-the-celebration-of-evil" people.
I read on someone's blog that they hate the colors of fall. No orange or brown or gold. They think all these colors are ugly. How sad for this person. They are missing out on one of the greatest times of the year. I love the color of dirt, (and oreo cookies) I love the leaves changing colors. I like orange and yellow and gold. I love when the air outside smells like fall and it is nice and crisp and your cheeks get a little red from the chill in the air. It's fun seeing your breath in front of your face.
I was listening to the radio on my way home from the airport yesterday and I heard a song by Alan Jackson. "Remember When". There is a line in there that says, "Remember when, 30 seemed so old, NOw looking back, it's just a stepping stone, to where we are, where we've been..." I am 30. (Did you know that?) I wasn't sure how I felt about that until the moment I heard that song. NOw, i've heard it before and I know almost all the words to the song, but right then, I could kind of relate. I think I like being 30. I'm a big girl now.
I'm enjoying my babies. They are still my babies. And they love that i call them that. It won't be long until they'll say to me, "Emily, PUH-LEASE!" (And yes, they will call me Emily, because it sounds more dramatic.)

I also like to eat chocolate peanut butter cups. My friend from New Zeland thinks that peanut butter is meant for only toast. She's funny. I like to listen to her talk without moving her lips much. (She says this is a classic way to determine a Kiwi [her word for someone from New Zeland]). I don't know if I spelled New Zeland right.
