We've been busy

Sorry it's been so long! We've been busy. We had some friends come and stay with us. It was so fun to have them here. The little girls played dress up and Barbies, nonstop! I was so glad to see Corrine playing like that since none of the other little girls around here like to play those things. The two boys wrestled and played like little boys do. My Hunter was so good and patient playing with the 2 year old Hunter. I think it was because my Hunter loves to be funny and the other Hunter would laugh so hard at just about everything he did! Crystal and I got to go to an all day scrap-a-thon! We brought the babies with us and had a blast! Jared and Michael stayed with the older kids. When we asked them what they did, Corrine said, "We went to the river and played at the park and had ice cream for dinner!" Fun day! Jared and Michael got to go fishing a couple of days and he said they had a great time, too. It was sad to see them go, but it will just make our next get together all the more fun, because we will have anticipated it forever! Thanks for coming, guys!

It sounds like you had a fun time Cyrstal and Jared!! :o) I'm just jealous it wasn't with me! But, I'm just stingy that way!! lol

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment. Now, I'm a compassionate person, I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shrugged it off, and waited patiently for her to finish.
