we went bluberry picking on tuesday! it was so fun! umm, yeah, it just happened to be on the hottest day of the year...103 degrees! *ick* we went to the river afterwards, thinking it would be a relief. the water was warm, not cool! so much fun, though. something that my kids kindof take for granted. michael and i were like little kids, picking blueberries like they were going out of style! hunter and corrine were not as impressed. they liked being able to eat as much as their little tummies could hold. we ended up with over 20 pounds!

So I noticed the goofy gardners that comment on your blog and got me thinking, I wonder if we are related some how. My maiden name is Gardner. Hmm... That would be so fun to pick and eat fresh blueberries. Yummy!

Blueberries!! Yummy!! I just made my kids a fruit bowl and blueberries was one of the fruits!

My family (as in way back when the pioneers came here) settled pine valley out by St. George. They've all lived here in Utah. I'm sure somewhere down the line we're related somehow. What a small world.

I know I've told you before, but I'll say it again. I love to get my hair done. There's just something about having someone else play with my hair that puts me into a hypnotic state. It's soooo relaxing, and I love the feeling of fresh, soft, just done-by-someone-else hair. It's also something that I don't do often for 2 reasons: 1) I'm lazy and don't like having to maintain my hair. 2) It can get pretty pricey. It may be because I fell into one of those hypnotic states that the following disaster occurred. I guess my first clue of impending doom should have been when my stylist decided to get her nails done. At the same time that I showed up for my appointment.
